Marabu UV-B5 is a UV curing accelerator (photoinitiator) for UV-curable screen printing inks. It is added to UV inks at 0.5–2% when faster UV curing is required and when improved adhesion to the substrate is needed due to deeper curing.

UV-B5 does not cause yellowing, making it suitable for white inks and varnishes. It has no pot life limitation, allowing the prepared ink mixture to be used without time restrictions.

Packaging: 0.1 L

Technical data sheet.

⚠️ Important: Excessive amounts may negatively affect the printing properties.

Instructions for use (step by step):

1. Weigh the required amount of UV paint.

2. Calculate the amount of UV-B5 (0.5-4% of the paint weight).

3. Mix UV-B5 into the paint with a mechanical mixer until completely homogeneous.

4. Print normally.

5. Cure using UV lamps, following the recommended curing parameters.

Additional features:

- Does not cause yellowing

- Does not shorten the pot life of the paint

Suitable in cases where:

- UV curing is too slow,

When is it recommended to use

When UV printing:

does not harden sufficiently,

remains too soft,

has poor resistance to water or abrasion,

When you want to improve the final print quality without changing the ink system.

Important notes:

All quantities are given as percentages by weight, not by volume.

⚠️ It is necessary to conduct a pilot test before serial production.

Overdosing additives may cause adhesion or surface defects
