Marabu Tampatex TPX – Ink, 1.0 L

Marabu Tampa® Tex TPX is a solvent-based, two-component pad printing ink for textiles and many other substrates. The ink offers high opacity on dark fabrics, a flexible and soft ink film, and excellent resistance to washing and ironing. This makes it ideal for direct printing onto garments as an alternative to sewn-in or transfer labels.

The ink is certified according to OEKO-TEX® ECO PASSPORT and is suitable for products with indirect food contact.

Preparation:

Mix the paint well before use.

Tampatex TPX is a 2-component system - a hardener is required.

The hardener is selected according to the surface being printed.

Hardener selection:

HX hardener (20%):
- Designed for textile printing (cotton, polyester, blended fabrics, etc.).
- Ensures elasticity, resistance to washing and ironing
- Recommended for all textile applications.

H2 hardener (15-30%):
- For non-textile use only.
- Suitable for printing on plastics, varnished surfaces and other hard substrates.
- Provides faster curing and greater hardness.

⚠️ H2 hardener is not suitable for textiles - using it on fabrics may reduce elasticity and resistance.

Usage notes:

The prepared paint and hardener mixture should be used within ~8 hours.

Work at a temperature not lower than 15 °C.

Avoid high humidity.

⚠️ It is always recommended to do a test print.
